Best Acoustic Guitar for $500
Looking for an acoustic guitar on a budget of $500 can be a lot to handle. There are a lot of guitars at around $500 and some are better than others. Martin, Gibson, Taylor, Breedlove, Fender, Yamaha, Epiphone, Takamine Washburn, Seagull, Blueridge, Ibanez, Alvarez, Ovation, and more to come. How do you choose between that? I have, over the years, played all these different acoustic guitars and found the one I love the most.
The Epiphone Masterbilt series is the best value you will get at 500 dollars. I bought the DR-500M 4 years ago now and it sounds better today than it did then. The Masterbilt series acoustic guitars are made with all solid woods. The solid wood on the top back and sides give this guitar a rich, deep sound without sacrificing the crisp, bright tones as well.
Most of the Masterbilt series guitars (the one under $500) do not include built-in electronics. You can either have them installed if needed or preferred, or just use a Fishman sound-hole pickup to plug in without altering the tone of your instrument by installing a pickup unit.
You can find the Epiphone Masterbilt series guitars for $449.00 to $499.00. You will find this guitar rates very high from beginner to advanced players. Compared to the rest of the competition at this price you are getting a steal of a deal.
