3. St. Augustine - By Gang of Horses. This song appears about the debut album of Gang of Horses, an indie band that released the album in 2006. The classical guitar work is perfect for the song, a leveled combination of strumming and plucking, and also the lyrics are boarder-line mind-blowing. Does Yamaha manufacture black nylon guitar strings?
I am an english speaking person living in Guatemala and I have recently started learning to play acoustic guitar. The people around where I live like to take advantage of well to do "gringos" here and I think my guitar teacher is trying to take advantage of me. I asked him to change the strings on my classical acoustic nylon string guitar and he put some black nylon strings on and said they were Yamaha Punto Negro concert strings and he charged me $40 for them. I have since started to do alot of reasearch myself and have not even been able to find Yamaha black nylon strings. I just want to know if they exist and how much they are.

I don't remember ever seeing black nylon manufactured by Yamaha. LaBella, GHS, Fender, D'addario, Savarez etc... are the most popular black nylon strings.
Yamaha make the CN10 strings for concert guitars and most widely used.

I would use Savarez on you guiatr, or Pro Arte. They would definitely sound better than the black ones. Just a thought...
I stringed many guitars over the years and tested many of them and SAVAREZ and AUGUSTINE always performed well. What I like about SAVAREX is the 3rd and 2nd string which is also wound and gives much more resonance and sustain.
